Medical organizations in Turkestan region are provided with medicines and personal protective equipment. For this purpose, 1.4 billion tenge was allocated from the Republican budget, 0.8 billion tenge from the regional budget. These funds were used to purchase medicines, medical devices and disinfectants. 70% of them are stored in medical institutions, and the remaining 30% are stored in the warehouse of the regional department of public health.
Artificial ventilation devices and 4 additional oxygen stations have been increased in the region. In addition, the number of oxygen concentrators has reached 1 thousand, and the number of oxygen points has increased by 3 thousand. In addition, 12 units of mobile medical complexes were purchased, and the coverage rate of the districts was 100%. The ambulance service has been replenished with 122 new vehicles. These vehicles made it possible to update the fleet of ambulance services by 96%.
Over the past day, 16 people with coronavirus infection have been registered in Turkestan region. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,002 cases have been registered, and 3,735 people have recovered. The region is in the "green zone" in terms of assessing the epidemiological situation. To date, 610 infectious and 340 quarantine beds have been prepared in the region. In case of an outbreak of coronavirus infection, it is possible to increase the number of infectious beds to 6 thousand.
