THE TURKESTAN REGION: INVESTMENTS WILL BE ATTRACTED TO THE MACHINE-BUILDING INDUSTRY

The leadership of the Turkestan region pays special attention to the introduction of new technological solutions and best international practices in the development of not only the economy, but also the manufacturing industry, in particular, the automotive industry. In order to attract investment in the machine-building industry, a special working group headed by deputy akim of the Turkestan region Meirzhan Myrzaliyev visited the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation, where they got acquainted with the production facilities of the "URAL" automobile plant.
During the meeting with the management of the automobile plant and the trading house of AZ "Ural", the possibility of organizing the assembly of trucks and special equipment under the "Ural" brand in the Turkestan region was discussed.
"Taking into account many years of experience, as well as the special image of the automobile plant, we invited russian entrepreneurs to Turkestan to get acquainted with the investment opportunities of the region. Representatives of the "Ural" company, showing high interest, decided to visit our region on a working visit in the second half of February this year.
In addition, we held a meeting with the deputy akim of the Chelyabinsk region, Yegor Viktorovich Kovalchuk. During the meeting with the participation of members of the government, we discussed the establishment of trade and economic relations between our regions, " Myrzaliyev said.
It is worth noting that russian-kazakh relations are developing dynamically in many areas. This visit will give a new impetus to the development of the machine-building industry in the Turkestan region. The main purpose of the visit is to further strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership and establish close trade and economic relations with the Chelyabinsk region.
