A NEW RECORD WAS SET BY THE KELES DISTRICT

74.4 billion tenge - this is the volume of gross regional product in the Keles district of Turkestan region last year. The increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was 122.4%. The share of the agricultural sector reached 67.7%.
Keles district is a border area with a high export potential of agricultural products. Farmers last year grew and produced agricultural products worth 50.4 billion tenge.
In the field of agriculture invested
2 115, 2 million tenge. The volume of financing for this industry increased by 426.7% compared to last year. For the autumn and spring field work, the government supplied 2,145 tons of fuel and lubricants at preferential prices.
In order to increase the number of agricultural products in the district, there was an active work on obtaining 2-3 harvests from one area. It is worth noting the success of the production cooperative " A. Zhiger T" in a rural county Ushkyn under the chairmanship of Abdissadyk Segizbayev. In 2020, the entrepreneur grew 22,414 tons of cabbage, melons and vegetables sown in early spring on 328 hectares. He sent the harvest for export to Russia and Belarus.
Last year, 218 projects were launched on an area of 1024 hectares to produce 2-3 harvests per year. If from the first harvest 29 162 tons of products were collected, then from the second - 30 499 tons of melons and vegetables.
