HOUSING CONSTRUCTION INCREASED 2.5 TIMES IN TURKESTAN

Housing construction in the city of Turkestan increased by 2.5 times compared to 2019. In the administrative and business center, 89 multi-storey residential buildings are being built at the expense of the budget. In the near future, about six thousand families will celebrate the housewarming. On the agenda of the operational meeting chaired by the akim of the region Umirzak Shukeyev, the report of the akim of Turkestan Rashid Ayupov on the development of the city of Turkestan was heard.

Despite the pandemic situation of the past year, Turkestan is developing in difficult conditions. The most important indicators of socio-economic development of the city over the past year have become positive. At the end of the year, construction and installation works and acceptance of seven 7-storey residential buildings for 336 apartments were completed. All the houses were commissioned through "Zhilstroysberbank". In December, five seven-storey residential buildings were put into operation.

According to the schedule, 12 multi-storey residential buildings will be fully completed by April this year. Now it employs about 500 workers, 8 units of equipment. Construction of the remaining 77 residential buildings in the administrative and business center of Turkestan will be completed by 2021.
