TURKESTAN: ON ELECTION DAY, TWICE AS MANY CHILDREN WERE BORN AS USUAL

On election day, 135 children were born in the Turkestan region. During the day, 63 boys and 72 girls were born. That is, twice as many children were born on this day as usual. The regional department of public health reported that this is an unprecedented situation, so a record has been set. The condition of newborn mothers and babies is good.

Sailau, Sailaugul, Nursultan and Kassym-Jomart were chosen among the most prominent names. Pregnant women and women in labor in the maternity hospital of the region voted from 7.00 am. In the region, more than 300 women who are in the maternity hospital took part in the elections.

In general, about 100 thousand children are born in the Turkestan region every year. This is the largest indicator in the Republic. In the region, about 50-60 babies are born per day.
