IN THE TURKESTAN REGION, A 95-YEAR-OLD VETERAN, LIEUTENANT COLONEL VOTED AT THE POLLING STATION

Honorary veteran of the interior Ministry of Kazakhstan, "Honorary citizen" of Sairam district, Lieutenant-Colonel, retired, 95-year-old resident of Sairam district Tashkhodzha Atashev came to the polling station and made his choice.
"As a citizen of my country, I have never missed an election. This is my duty and an example that I set for my children and fellow citizens. We must take responsibility for our future, " the elder said.
We will note, inhabitants of Turkestan region are actively participating in elections of Majilis deputies of Kazakhstan Parliament and maslikhats, which take place in our country today.
In the Turkestan region, 911 polling stations were opened, where more than 1 million 160 thousand voters were registered. There are 50 polling stations in the regional center - the city of Turkestan. It is voted by both citizens and citizens who are in the service, and guests who have come to the city.
All sanitary standards are strictly observed at polling stations. Specialists measure the body temperature of each person, check the availability of medical masks and gloves. Also on the sites do not forget about the observance of social distance.
In general, 320 deputy mandates were provided for the elections to maslikhats in the region, 45 of them - to the regional maslikhat. 47 deputies will be elected to the city maslikhat and 228 deputies to the district maslikhats.
