UMIRZAK SHUKEYEV WAS AWARDED A LETTER OF THANKS FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE
Governor of Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev was awarded a Letter of gratitude from the minister of defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for comprehensive support of youth initiatives and broad involvement of the younger generation to participate in military-patriotic events.
Honorary award was handed by the head of the regional Department on affairs of defense colonel Nurmakhanbet Dyusebayev.
"Young people who have been trained and hardened in the walls of military-patriotic clubs, and subsequently drafted into the army or entered military educational institutions, have higher skills in mastering the basics of military science and are easier to adapt to the conditions of army service. The leadership of the Ministry of Defense highly appreciates the military-patriotic work carried out in the region," N. Dyusebayev said.
It should be noted that in 2020, the military-patriotic club "Barys" successfully represented the Turkestan region at the VI Republican military-patriotic youth gathering "Aybyn", which was held online for the first time.
According to the results of the last competition, young patriots of the region took the second place among the teams of secondary schools of the regions and the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.
It is also worth noting that the part of the Message of the First President – Elbasy to the people of Kazakhstan to strengthen the role of military-Patriotic education in the Turkestan region in November 2019 signed a memorandum of cooperation and interaction between the heads of Department on affairs of defense of the Turkestan region, Department of human development of the regional akimat and branch Republican public Association "Zhas sarbaz".
The purpose of the memorandum is the development of youth organizations in the region, the further implementation of joint projects, as well as the broad involvement of the younger generation to participate in military-patriotic events.
