THE MONUMENT WAS ESTABLISHED TO THOSE WHO DIED IN A PLANE CRASH IN 2012

Eight years ago, a memorial service was held in Turkestan region at the scene of the crash of the AH-72 military aircraft, which killed 27 soldiers, as well as in all territorial divisions of the border service of the National Security Committee. The event was attended by representatives of the clergy and Border Guards – veterans of the branch of the republican public association "Zastava tarlandary", as well as relatives and friends of the deceased.

On the initiative of the military personnel of the Department of the border guard service of the National Security Committee of the Turkestan region, a memorial plaque was installed at the site of the plane crash, honoring true patriots of their country – defenders of the Fatherland. The names of the border guards who went to the eternal land were inscribed on the tombstone.

At the beginning of the memorial, the southern border guards laid flowers and prayers in honor of the deceased soldiers. On December 25, 2012, a day of mourning was declared in our country. This tragedy, which occured on this difficult winter day, became a tragiс event in the history of an independent country.
