In accordance with the instructions of akim of Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev, the project "Creating a food belt on the territory of Turkestan" is being actively implemented. 10 agricultural production cooperatives have been established in 6 rural districts of Kentau, which involve 1,269 peasant farms. In addition, the method of sprinkler irrigation has been introduced for the implementation of large investment projects.
In particular," Turkestan Agro " LLP sold 1.8 billion tenge on 1010 hectares. 18 units of sprinkler irrigation equipment were purchased, which attracted investments in tenge. In 2020, 2 products were obtained from one field. And LLP " Yntymak Agro XXI " for 620 hectares-980 million US dollars. 9 units were purchased, attracting their own investment in tenge. In Kentau, it is planned to sow 43,500 hectares of agricultural crops, and to date, 45,698 hectares of crops have been sown.
