WITH CARE FOR EVERYONE: 34 THOUSAND TURKESTANS WERE PROVIDED WITH SOCIAL SERVICES AND TECHNICAL MEANS OF REHABILITATION

In our region, 94.5 thousand citizens with disabilities are registered. It should be noted that this figure is 4.7% of the population of the region, or 13.7% of disabled people in the Republic.
4.8 billion tenge was allocated for them this year from the budgets of all levels. Thus, out of 48 thousand citizens in need, 34 thousand were provided with technical means of rehabilitation and provided with social services.
In order to support the socially vulnerable strata of the population during the state of emergency, 881.7 thousand citizens who have less means of subsistence due to the loss of work were allocated 37.3 billion tenge for the payment of social assistance in the amount of 42500 tenge. In particular, from April to June, 544.5 thousand citizens, 23.1 billion tenge, from July to August, 337.2 thousand people - 14.2 billion tenge.
At the same time, in the Turkestan region, a total of 49.5 thousand families (277 thousand people) received 31.9 billion tenge to provide targeted social assistance.
As of December 1, 2020, 35,680 low-income families, which is 199,391 people, were paid targeted social assistance in the amount of 12.8 billion tenge. According to the guaranteed social package, 42,887 children from 1 to 6 years received food packages and hygiene products in the amount of 1.7 billion tenge.
168.9 thousand children-recipients of TSA aged from 6 to 18 years, the disabled and the unemployed were given 3.7 billion tenge in compensation, as well as food and household kits worth 5,567 tenge.
In addition, at the initiative of the "Nur Otan party", the "Birgemiz" Public fund provided assistance to 7 categories of citizens within 5 tranches. 38,907 citizens received financial assistance in the amount of 50 thousand tenge for a total amount of 1,945. 2 billion tenge.
As an anti-crisis measure, the Turkestan region allocated 105.3 billion tenge for the launch of 475 infrastructure projects within the framework of the "employment Roadmap for 2020-2021".
In 11 months, we started working on 475 projects. Construction and repairs have been completed on 384 projects. In the process of implementing the projects, 12,828 new jobs were created (48.7%). 10,940 people (83.1%) were employed for temporary work through employment centers. The average salary was 85 thousand tenge.
