IN TERMS OF INVESTMENT GROWTH THE TURKESTAN REGION IS THE LEADER IN THE REPUBLIC

The volume of attracted investments in the Turkestan region increased by 66.7% and ranks first in the Republic. 551.8 billion tenge of investments were allocated for the development of the regional economy in 11 months.
This year, a significant share of investment in fixed assets is accounted for in the areas of construction, industry, art, entertainment, recreation, transport and savings. 76.3 billion tenge was allocated for the development of housing construction. This is 146.5% more than in the same period last year.
The volume of foreign trade turnover of the Turkestan region amounted to 324.3 million dollars. This is 111.1% more than the same period last year. Including exports increased by 122.1%, the volume of imports amounted to 66.5 million dollars.
