INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS WORTH 481.3 BILLION TENGE WERE PRODUCED IN TURKESTAN REGION

In Turkestan region for 11 months of the current year, industrial products worth 481.3 billion tenge were produced. The volume of production in the mining industry was 41.6 %. In electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, the volume of products produced and services rendered amounted to 38.2 billion tenge, while water supply, Sewerage, waste collection and distribution control accounted for 5.9 billion tenge. Of the most important products, 270.4 thousand tons of petroleum products, 64.1 thousand tons of cotton fiber were produced, an increase of 137%. Electricity production increased by 43.8% (678.9 million kW/h).

The Volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 688 billion tenge, according to this indicator, the region took a leading position in the country. Among them, the share of crop production is 414.9 billion tenge, livestock-269.8 billion tenge.

In all categories of farms of the region, 207.9 thousand tons of meat, 701 thousand tons of milk, 201 million eggs were produced. The number of cattle reached 1,011. 9 thousand heads, or 105.4% compared to the corresponding period of last year, sheep and goats-4,447. 6 thousand heads, or 104.0%, horses-340.4 thousand heads, or 107.1%, camels-33.1 thousand heads, or 115.1%.
