IN THE TURKESTAN REGION OPENED THE AVENUE OF ABAI

Abai alley was opened in Tolebi district on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the great poet, philosopher Abai Kunanbayev. The new attraction is located on Aiteke bi street in the district center. it was possible to erect a beautiful monument to the poet thanks to sponsorship. The height of the statue is 3 meters, and the pedestal itself is 2 meters.
Akim of the district B. Omarbekov, veterans of the district, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Temirgali Kopbayev, representatives of the intelligentsia and journalists took part in the opening ceremony of Abai Alley.
"The purpose of this event is to pay tribute to the great Abai Kunanbayuly, as well as to popularize his rich heritage. The heritage of Abai is a sacred value that opens the way to our unity and development of the nation, " the mayor of the district said.
It is worth noting that the children's and sports grounds installed here create comfortable conditions for cultural leisure of residents and physical education classes.
