A groundbreaking ceremony was held in turkestan for the construction of 3 dormitories with 500 seats each for students of the international kazakh-turkish university named after H. A. Yassaui. in a special capsule, a historical note was left with wishes and appeals to future generations for the year 2050.

In order to implement five social initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in connection with the increase in the number of students at the University from remote regions of the country and abroad, it is planned to build three 5-storey dormitories with 1,500 seats, 500 seats each. The total area of the buildings will be 40 thousand square meters.

The event was attended by the teaching staff of the Turkestan region, headed by Deputy akim of the region Arman Sabitov, President of the University Bolatbek Abdrasilov and I Vice-President Zhengiz Tomar.
It should be noted that more than 10 thousand students are currently studying at the educational institution. Now students take classes remotely, and next year they will be placed in a comfortable modern dormitory.

"I congratulate all of you on Independence Day. Today we got acquainted with the project of 3 dormitories with 500 beds, which will be built in a modern style. Construction of the facilities will be completed at the scheduled time and all students will be settled in the new buildings. For our part, we will provide all-round support, " said Deputy akim of the Turkestan region Arman Sabitov.

The new dormitories will create all conditions for comfortable living, study and recreation of students. The buildings are equipped with recreation areas for the effective use of students 'leisure time, sports grounds "Workout". There is also parking for vehicles and bicycles. The hostel is going to open a gym, including a children's room, a cafe, a youth center, retail premises, a canteen, a beauty salon, a hotel with 140 seats, a supermarket, a dentist and retail outlets.

The student residential complex is aimed at forming a full-fledged zone of student dormitories, aimed at students, married couples and low-mobility groups of the population.

"In all regions of the country, dormitories have been built over the past two years. Today, on the eve of the Independence Day in the city of Turkestan, the foundation of a hostel for students of MKTU named after H. A. Yassaui for 1500 places was laid. We are grateful to the First President N. Nazarbayev, the Head of State K. Tokayev, the leadership of the region. The construction of a new modern dormitory is a historic moment for our university, " said Bolatbek Abdrasilov, President of the University.

Also, according to the investor-director of Alem Trust Construction LLP Askar Kurbanov, the new student hostel complex will become one of the largest in the country.
