In his speech, the Secretary of State stressed that " today is the time for a new stage in the development of inter-ethnic relations. At the Assembly Council on November 11, Elbasy very clearly noted the social demand for a new, inclusive policy in the field of interethnic relations. In the near future, the President of the Assembly pointed out the importance of developing measures aimed at deepening the integration of society.

"The need to transform"the ethnic and cultural diversity of Kazakhstan into a competitive advantage and a tool for strengthening the country's independence and development" is outlined. It is important to strengthen the social capital of unity and harmony, to create new platforms for interaction between ethnic groups, to prevent the politicization of the ethnic issue, and to neutralize any ethnic conflicts. This is a matter for all government institutions and civil society without exception. This year, a lot of work has been done in a short time to change the approaches to managing inter-ethnic processes in the country. They are becoming more institutionalized. There is a structural and qualitative "reset" of the Assembly as a General civil, supra-political and national institution that is trusted. At a recent meeting of the National Commission for the modernization of public consciousness, we summed up the results of the implementation of the "Ruhani zhangyru" program in 2020 and identified priority areas for further work. Taking into account the new realities, a number of new projects have been introduced, and a special Road map has been developed for its practical content and deepening. Its main purpose is to increase the competitiveness of the nation, " he said.

Recall that on January 11, 2021, the fourth election of 9 deputies of the Mazhilis, elected at the session of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, will be held. The corresponding decree on convening the session of the APK was signed by the Head of state on December 10, 2020. The Palace of peace and harmony is the venue for the session and voting. A decision of the Session is considered adopted if more than half of the members present vote in favour. Today, the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan has 504 members. Each elector - a member of the Assembly-votes in person. Candidates who receive more than 50 percent of the votes of the Assembly members who participated in the voting are considered elected.
