THE GARMENT FACTORY "TURKISTAN TEXTILE" IS CARABLE OF PRODUCING 15000 UNITS OF TEXTILE PRODUCTS PER YEAR

The activity of the garment factory "Turkistan Textile", located in the industrial zone of the city of Turkestan on an area of 2 hectares., is gaining momentum. the construction of the joint venture of the republics of kazakhstan and Uzbekistan was completed in record time in almost 3 months. When the plant is fully launched, up to 1,000 jobs will be created.

The garment factory for the production of textile products was opened in a solemn ceremony with the participation of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. Today, the company has started production of its textile products.

The investor of this project intends to provide jobs for women with disabilities and members of low-income families. In addition, students of the Turkestan higher multidisciplinary College of crafts will be given the opportunity to acquire practical skills.
The initiator of the project, implemented in the framework of expanding cooperation between the fraternal States, is the company "Qojakent Textile" LLP. The company plans to produce up to 15,000 units of textile products annually.

The garment factory plans to launch production of various workwear (medical gowns, uniforms) and outerwear, men's and women's suits under the "Ataman and Ramsay" brands. The total investment in the plant is about 420 million tenge.
