2500 TONS OF HALAL GELATIN WILL BE PRODUCED IN TURKESTAN

The "KazGelatine" project worth 15.5 billion tenge (35 million US dollars) is going to be launched in the Turkestan region by the Malaysian gelatin producer PNMB International. The Governor of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev met with the Director General Ahmad was Sazali. Note that the products of this company-the initiator of gelatin production in the world, will meet the "Halal" standard. This standard has provided Malaysian gelatin considerable demand in Arab countries. Only 2% of gelatin production in the global industry is Halal.

750 thousand processed hides of cattle and horses - this is the capacity of the new project, which will produce 2500 tons of gelatin crumbs per year. "KazGelatine" project will be launched in Turkestan region.

"I want to Express my gratitude to you for your desire to implement the project in our region. For our part, we will make every effort to successfully launch your business. As far as I know, your production will be able to fully cover the demand for Halal gelatin in the country. And, most importantly, it will be the only such enterprise in Central Asia, " the Governor of the region stressed.

The new production will be comprehensive. It will support the full cycle-from the production of gelatin to its subsequent processing, packaging and shipping to customers. In addition to the food industry, the products are planned to be used in other industries.

The production works in accordance with the agreement of the Islamic organization for food security (IOFS). The investor will be provided with a plot of 8 hectares in the industrial zone. Putting the production into operation will provide permanent work for 70 people. The products will be exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India.

Recall that the production of gelatin on the Kazakh market has long been established. In addition, gelatin exporters to our country are Belarus, Russia, Italy, China and Belgium.
