NEW LEVEL OF SECURITY: TURKESTAN REGION POLICE HAVE INCREASED PROTECTION FROM TERRORIST ATTACKS

Experts held a video conference on anti-terrorist security regulation. In particular, it was about objects that are vulnerable to terrorism. Information and explanatory work with the employees of the state security service was aimed at bringing changes, additions and requirements of the legislation to the managers and owners of objects.
The participants noted that the Law "on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on countering the legalization of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism"was signed. In addition, changes were made to the regulation of anti-terrorist protection of objects that are vulnerable to terrorism.
On November 14, 2020, the Order of the Minister of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 29, 2020 came into force. In accordance with this order, further inspection of TTO objects will be carried out without a checklist, but on the basis of specialized technical regulations.
The resolution clarified the status of persons providing protection of TTO objects (security structures, guards, combat shifts), took into account the features of objects when developing passports, adopted a norm on the need to approve the passport of anti-terrorist protection of TTO objects by military units and institutions, other troops and military formations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, special state bodies (KNB, CSO) that are not subject to state control in this area.
