HIGH-SPEED INTERNET IS PROVIDED IN THE VILLAGES OF THE TURKESTAN REGION

This was reported to the Governor of the region Umirzak Shukeyev during the weekly staff meeting.
They also discussed issues of increasing the share of local content in public procurement and announced the results of the work of the Commission on supervision of the share of local content in public procurement. To improve the work of the Commission, several proposals were made, which the mayor instructed the responsible departments to take to work and strengthen its pace.
Umirzak Shukeyev was informed about the work on providing all settlements of the region with communication systems and the Internet. As part of the Memorandum between the government and mobile operators, mobile communications will be available in 80 villages by the end of the year. And 264 villages, or 642 state organizations (schools, kindergartens, police posts, akimats) are already connected to the optical Internet.
Work in this direction continues in several stages. To deal with the quality of communication, we launched a contact center at 109. 1518 calls have already been received from residents of the region. Most of them were made by residents of 29 densely populated villages in the South of the region. A number of issues will be resolved by establishing an Internet radio relay connection with villages.
According to experts, this requires about 9.65 million tenge for each village.
