HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF KAZAKHSTAN’S CONSTITUTION!

On August 30, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of the Constitution adopted in a national referendum in 1995.

As the basic law of the country, the Constitution reflects the will of the people of Kazakhstan, their desire to establish the country "as a democratic, secular, legal and social state, the highest values of which are the person, his life, rights and freedoms" (N. Nazarbayev).

The first article of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan asserts itself as a democratic, secular, legal and social state, the highest values of which are the person, his life, rights and freedoms.

According to the first President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Constitution of Kazakhstan is the Foundation of freedom. Thus, the Constitution gave the Kazakh people the most important thing — the right to choose.
