Based on the results of inspections of the Ayagoz and Tasaryk MSI

On June 3, this year, a working group was created at the MLSP (Ministry of labor and social protection) to develop proposals for the reform of medical and social institutions based on the results of inspections of the Ayagoz and Tasaryk MSI. Preventive visits of the npm members have played an important role. The Commissioner for human rights ' proposals to change legislation, law enforcement practices and improve the conditions in these institutions are supported. It is planned that the working group will receive proposals for amendments to regulatory legal acts within two weeks. In addition, the General Prosecutor's office supported the initiative of the Commissioner for human rights on the study of the problems of the inefficient investigation and the reasons for the termination of criminal cases on torture (article 146 of the criminal code). The identification and elimination of violations in each specific case should be combined with the identification of systemic problems in order to prevent violations of human rights in the future.
