The Commissioner for Human Rights discussed with ODIHR the results of the presidential election in Kazakhstan

Today Elvira Azimova had an online meeting with the representatives of the OSCE ODIHR Urszula Gacek, Chetaykina Svetlana, where they shared their views on the results of observation in the recent presidential elections in Kazakhstan.

During the working conversation the sides discussed the rights of citizens to freedom of peaceful assembly, the new constitutional status of the Commissioner for Human Rights, in particular his role in ensuring strict compliance with the electoral rights of citizens in Kazakhstan.
