As the participants of the meeting stressed, on the threshold of political modernization, it is important for the country to actively involve civil society in the process of updating legal policy in the context of the rule of law and the protection of human rights.

The importance of high-quality and comprehensive expert participation was noted, taking into account the best international practices and commitments made. «Consolidation of efforts and competence will allow us to achieve long-term results. I believe that our meetings should not only be a mechanism for identifying problem areas, but also stimulate a systematic solution to issues of protecting citizens' rights», E.Asimova summed up.
