Currently, the forum is being held: on «Kazakhstan's model of Service Police work: prospects and development strategy» organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan together with UNODC in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Law Policy Research Center.
The decision to introduce service approaches into the work of the police is an important component of the modernization of the law enforcement system. The pilot project was launched in 2018.
Currently, taking into account the results of the pilot project, it is planned to develop a strategy for a full transition to a service model of work.
The strategy should be aimed at four vectors of development of the service model: 1) walking accessibility of the police for rapid response to violations (modular posts, the use of digital technologies); 2) improving the quality of police work; 3) prevention (prevention) of violations; 4) partnership with the local community.
