Meeting of the Ombudsman of Kazakhstan with diplomats of the EU Delegation and the German Embassy in Kazakhstan

On March 1, 2022, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova held a working meeting with the Permanent Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kazakhstan Holgar Kolley and the Head of the Department of Politics, Press and Information of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan Maciej Madalinski.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to implement a joint project with the invitation of the Uberleben Center in Germany, which has experience working with citizens in conflict and post-conflict situations, organizing projects for the rehabilitation and reintegration of victims of conflicts.

The project aims to improve the skills and knowledge of the participants of the National Preventive Mechanism, special prosecutors, lawyers, and representatives of social services. It is planned to launch the project this year.
