The Ombudsman of Kazakhstan met with colleagues of the member states of the Organization of Turkic-speaking countries

On February 21, 2022, an online meeting of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova with the ombudsmen of the member states of the Organization of Turkic-speaking Countries took place. The Ombudsmen discussed the draft status on the establishment of the Association of Ombudsmen of the Organization of Turkic-speaking Countries.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Sheref Malkoc, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Feruza Eshmatova, and Mirzatillo Tillabayev, First Deputy Director of the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
