A SINGLE PORTAL OF SHORT-TERM ONLINE TRAINING HAS BEEN LAUNCHED IN KAZAKHSTAN SKILLS.ENBEK.KZ

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC "Center for the Development of Labor Resources" launched a portal for training short-term online courses skills.enbek.kz.

The portal is a Kazakhstani analog of international training platforms that provide access to online courses on the principle of a marketplace (market of services). The resource was created to increase the level of education and professionalism of the country's population as a whole, stimulating career development and promoting the concept of "lifelong learning".

At the time of launch, Kazakhstani authors and developers already offer courses in the fields of cooking and culinary business, cosmetics, legal and accounting services, construction, hotel and restaurant business, office management, IT, SMM.

Any citizen can get access to training in popular skills or advanced training courses by clicking on the direct link https://skills.enbek.kz/ or by choosing "Online training" on the Electronic Labor Exchange enbek.kz.

The authors and developers of the courses are Kazakhstani legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, including training centers, educational organizations. They already see the advantages of the Portal in providing a free platform for hosting courses, promoting the development of online learning, and obtaining an additional profit channel.

Already 70 authors and developers of online courses are ready to offer their training programs for interested citizens.

Registration and work on the skills.enbek Portal.kz differs from working on other similar portals in the following advantages for course authors and developers:

  1. placement and promotion of online courses for all authors and developers without investing in the creation of additional platforms and websites;
  2. getting an additional profit channel. Placement of the course on the Portal is possible:

- for a fee – the cost of training is determined by the author independently, the author needs to register in the system Kassa24.kz, through which students will make payments directly to the author;

- free-the author can post free courses for testing his product, as a bonus for customers, etc.

- with state support for the unemployed population and job seekers. The cost of training according to the quota is determined by the authorized body for the employment of the population. This option will be available in the second half of 2021;

  1. increasing the coverage of the target audience of courses and the organization's recognition rating.

For novice authors and course developers, Methodological recommendations for creating online courses and requirements for them have been developed and posted on the Portal, where the main steps of working on the Portal are explained in detail.
