The National Center of Accreditation of the Ministry of trade and integration conducted a first remote assessment of the testing laboratory. The first enterprise whose laboratory received accreditation remotely was JSC «Zhambyl Hydroelectric Power Station named after T. I. Baturov».
The rules and procedures for remote assessment during accreditation were developed by the NCA MTI RK in early July, taking into account the recommendations of international organizations for accreditation ILAC-IAF. Today, remote assessment is used by foreign accreditation bodies in the UK, Italy, the USA, the Persian Gulf countries, and others.
The method of remote assessment for accreditation involves using modern telecommunications systems (online) to remotely inspect the laboratory, inspect the laboratory premises, and evaluate the competence of the staff.
Thus, during the assessment of the laboratory of JSC «Zhambyl Hydroelectric Power Station named after T. I. Baturov», the specialists of the DWP laboratory conducted tests of samples, during an online conference with NCA employees demonstrated the calibration of units, and showed all the documents required for accreditation through the cloud storage. Experts of the NCA have evaluated the laboratory's management system, confirmed the technical competence of laboratory assistants and compliance with the requirements of the international standard. After a successful accreditation procedure, the DWP laboratory will receive an accreditation certificate.
The DWP testing laboratory provides research on the safety of the plant's technological process, including compliance with emission standards. Accreditation of the laboratory means that it fully meets all the requirements for conducting such research and guarantees the quality of their results.
Remote assessment allows you to carry out work without putting the health and lives of specialists at risk. This is very important at this difficult time.
Note. The main activity of JSC «Zhambyl Hydroelectric Power Station named after T. I. Baturov» is the production, transmission, distribution and sale of electric and thermal energy. The DWP operates three PK-47-3 boilers with a primary steam capacity of 640 t / h for 200 MW units. DWP provides a stable electricity supply to consumers in southern Kazakhstan and covers the electricity deficit in the southern regions in the autumn and winter period.
