"QazTrade" MTI RK has achieved simplification of procedures for crossing the Kazakh-Chinese border for domestic exporters

On may 19, at the Nurzhol customs crossing, a separate corridor for cars with goods from Kazakhstani manufacturers was canceled, which appeared at the border on April 10 as part of support and acceleration of domestic exports to China. Since may 19, only vehicles with frozen meat and fish could freely cross the border along a separate corridor.

The rest of Kazakhstan's goods had to wait for arrival in the General queue. (The capacity of the customs transition "of Nurali" is 5-10 cars a day). This led to the accumulation of a large number of vehicles at the border, which jeopardized the uninterrupted supply of Kazakh goods to foreign buyers.

The special telegram channel of the "center for trade policy development" QazTrade" JSC of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan @exportgov started receiving requests from domestic exporters. (The channel was created at the end of March by "QazTrade" to receive emergency requests for the export of non-primary goods and services).

On may 29, with the assistance of employees of the "center for trade policy development "QazTrade" JSC and the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the operation of a separate corridor for cargo carriers of all Kazakhstani goods was restored.

MIT and QazTrade received words of gratitude from Kazakhstani entrepreneurs, with a request to consider the possibility of securing a" special corridor " for all domestic exports at the legislative level in the future.
