Appointed Director General «QazTrade» Trade Policy Development Centre» JSC

By the order of the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 13 November 2023, Zhenis Ozerbay was appointed as Director General of JSC «QazTrade» Trade Policy Development Centre.

Mr Zhenis Oserbay was born in 1981 in Almaty. Graduated from the Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulov. Graduated from T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University, Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Federation. He has a PhD in economics, project manager, supply chain management specialist.

He started his career in 2000 in the financial sector.

In different years worked in management positions in subsidiaries of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC.

From 2021 to 2023, he served as Vice-Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, supervised the issues of attracting investments in the agro-industrial complex, export and import of agricultural products, international integration, regulation of agro-food markets, processing and production of agricultural products, and also headed the Board of Directors of JSC «Prodkorporatsiya».  

Prior to his appointment from October 2023, he was a member of the Board of Directors, Independent Director of the Board of Directors of «QazTrade» Trade Policy Development Centre».

Zhenis Oserbay succeeded Rustam Asulbek, Director General of JSC «QazTrade» Trade Policy Development Centre», who resigned early at his own request.
