The Kazakh delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin was represented by Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev, Chairman of the Presidium of NCE «Atameken» Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Industrial Development Committee of MIIR Azamat Panbayev, Director General of the Center for the Development of Trade Policy «Qaztrade» Rustem Asulbek, heads of JSC NC «KTZ» and other specialized enterprises.

«Today, Kazakh-Chinese cooperation is characterized by high dynamics of contacts at the highest level and a wide range of areas of trade and economic cooperation, investment attraction, transport and logistics development. During the meeting in Xi'an in May, the heads of Kazakhstan and China set a task for us to bring the mutual trade turnover to $40 billion in the coming years. I am sure that we will reach this indicator soon. But in addition to the quantitative indicator, the quality of the content is important to us. The Government of Kazakhstan is interested in maximizing the volume of production of high-grade goods with your help, experience and a huge stock of technological developments. The products produced in Kazakhstan have quite a lot of advantages. We are in the EAEU, and this means entering the market of 160 million people», — Serik Zhumangarin addressed the participants of the round table.

Fan Jianhua, Senior Economist, President of the Chinese Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA) proposed using the site of the international exhibition of agricultural machinery organized by the association as a bridge for Kazakh-Chinese cooperation. This exhibition enjoys worldwide fame and is the largest in Asia. On behalf of CAMDA, he stated that the association is ready to make efforts to invest in Kazakhstan in the field of trade and infrastructure construction.

Chairman of the Chinese Association of Producers of Phosphorus-containing Fertilizers Xu Xuefeng spoke about the development of the industry in China.

With the development of technologies and equipment, the capacity of fertilizer production in China is continuously growing. Today, China produces more than a third of the world's production of two types of phosphorus fertilizers, and their exports account for about 30% of the world's trade turnover, another 11% of the world's turnover and 15% of world exports.

In recent years, there has been an increase in the use of organic fertilizers in China, while a huge market for the production of other types of fertilizers is being formed.

«Our association has about 400 members, covers over 90% of all fertilizer producers in China. I think our members can support cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the field of fertilizer production», - she said.

Tian Weihong, Secretary General of the Chinese Seed Trade Association, proposed to jointly develop the seed production industry in Kazakhstan.

Seeds are the foundation of agricultural development. In 30 years we have achieved a big breakthrough. Especially good are the results on improving the efficiency of varieties of crops such as rice, corn and many others. High-quality seeds can meet not only the demand of China, but also abroad. This is exactly in line with the potential of Kazakhstan, where there are huge areas for crops. We can strengthen our dialogue at the governmental level, strengthen the exchange between the associations of our countries, create platforms for our companies to cooperate in this area, and promote the development of the seed industry in your country. We can also transfer our advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence to agriculture to contribute to grain safety in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh delegation was very interested in the proposal of Ms. Tian Weihong. They invited a group of specialists of the association to come to Kazakhstan in August to discuss ways of cooperation.

Other participants made proposals on establishing relationships in the field of agricultural machinery production, Internet banking, innovative technologies in agriculture.

Following the results of the round table, the parties agreed that the Atameken Chamber will become a focal point for providing communications with businessmen.
