The working visit of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin to China began on August 13, 2023 from the city of Shenzhen – the largest economic and industrial center of the country.

Here are the offices of 10 Chinese companies included in the Global Fortune 500 world ranking. On the day of his stay in Shenzhen, the Deputy Prime Minister met with the leadership of two conglomerates included in this list - Amer International Group and Huawei technologies.

Amer International Group is a Chinese international industrial conglomerate engaged in the extraction of raw materials and metal processing. The company has offices in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, three international headquarters in Singapore, Geneva and Los Angeles. In recent years, the group has been rapidly developing industrial and strategic investments, scientific and technological intellectual parks, financial investments, trading platforms, is engaged in the creation of semiconductor industrial clusters and the design of microcircuits. It is the world's leading manufacturer of new metal materials. In 2021, it ranked 68th in the Global Fortune 500 list.

During the meeting with the founder and Chairman of the Board of Amer International Group, Wang Wenying, Serik Zhumangarin stressed that between the two countries, whose leaders are in friendly relations, business should also develop in close friendly partnership.

«We know that your company is engaged in metalworking, has implemented a sufficiently deep process of processing raw materials, and we offer you to help Kazakhstan organize its own metalworking production in our country. Kazakhstan is interested in investing in this area. We produce aluminum, zinc, copper and other metals, but we make very little finished products from them. In accordance with national legislation, the Government provides investment preferences through the conclusion of an investment contract. A new investment instrument has been introduced – an Investment Agreement that provides investors with special conditions, including stability. We invite you to work with us in this direction, to establish practical bilateral cooperation», — S. Zhumangarin said.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan invited the company to take part in the establishment of the entire process - from exploration and production to metal processing.

«We would be interested if you shared your knowledge in the production of semiconductors, trained our specialists in metal processing technologies», — he stressed.

Wang Wenyin positively met the proposals of the Kazakh side.

«Today, out of 200 Chinese companies, we are in the top 20, and among private 100 companies– we are in the top five. In the Global Fortune 500 world ranking, we currently occupy the 124th place with a yield of over $100 billion per year. Thanks to our processing technologies, we increase the cost of raw materials first by 10 times, then by 100, and for some goods – by 1000 times of the original cost of its raw materials. If you offer us to participate in projects from mining to processing and there are benefits in Kazakhstan when implementing investment projects, then we are interested in participating on such terms», — Wang Wenyin said.

As for personnel training, the founder of Amer International Group noted that his company cooperates with investors in this direction.

«When implementing joint investment projects, Kazakhstani specialists can come and study what we know in China. Kazakhstan borders the XUAR, and in terms of transport accessibility, we see great potential in cooperation in this region. Our company has a copper processing plant in this region. We can discuss the creation of the same enterprise in Kazakhstan», — he suggested.

Wang Wenyin also expressed interest in cooperation in the field of agriculture.

The parties agreed that upon the return of the Kazakh delegation  The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development will prepare a pool of proposals for possible cooperation and send them to the Chinese side for consideration.
