The National Center of Expertise of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on the results of sanitary and epidemiological examination of samples of 19 dairy products from 13 different imported manufacturers purchased by public associations for consumer protection, revealed inconsistencies in the fatty acid composition in dairy products produced by 5 enterprises(LLC «Southern Dairy Plant», LLC «Saratov dairy Plant», LLC «A-7 Agro-Orenburg Dairy Plant», LLC «Engelsky Dairy Plant» and the Russian Federation JSC «VBD).
As part of the enhanced laboratory control at the border, the discrepancy of the fatty acid composition in the ultra-pasteurized milk of 3.2% fat content of «Good Burenka» produced by LLC «Saratov Dairy Plant» (RF). was repeatedly revealed. The import of the products of this enterprise into the territory of Kazakhstan is temporarily restricted.
The Committee of Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) about cases of detection of inconsistencies in dairy products supplied from the Russian Federation.
In addition, according to the results of sanitary and epidemiological expertise, the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan canceled the validity of 42 declarations of conformity for dairy products. The reasons for cancellation are non-compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations on fatty acid composition, as well as registration of declarations of conformity with violation of procedures in terms of conducting research in non-accredited testing laboratories or not included in the unified register of the EAEU.
