Over two hundred complaints about the work of the Altyn Orda market were received by the call center and telegram chat

The main volume of complaints is related to the actions of the market administration and control over the collection of funds for rental places from tenants and merchants, the sanitary condition of the market, the lack of control scales and cash registers, the lack of ventilation and air conditioners in the pavilions, illegal trade on the pedestrian bridge, etc.

All received applications are studied by the MTI Trade Committee and appropriate work is carried out on each together with a mobile group, which includes representatives of AFM, AZRK MIT, SRC MF, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Agriculture, Akimat of Almaty region.

According to the Acting Chairman of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidar Abildabekov, in a short time since its creation, the mobile group conducted a tour of the market, during which tenants, merchants, buyers were listened to, it was possible to get acquainted with prices and pricing for food, vegetables and fruits.

«The mobile group has been created to promptly respond to all incoming complaints and will work until all identified violations are completely eliminated», - Aidar Abildabekov said. - Already today, 15 additional control scales have been installed on the territory of the market. 9 air conditioners will be installed in the market pavilions during the month. The administration of the Altyn Orda market will have to eliminate other identified shortcomings. First of all, it is necessary to install «smart» barriers that will allow you to remove incomprehensible levies at the entrances to the market territory. Secondly, to eliminate illegal extortion in the market itself, since all funds will be accepted through cash registers. In addition, an idea has been submitted to the market administration about the need to resolve the issue of separating the drivers' zone from pedestrians, including thinking through pedestrian crossings. Recommendations were also made to improve the sanitary condition of the market. Sanitary works will be carried out zonally so that trade does not stop for a month.

Recall that 100 free places for trucks were allocated to farmers at the «Altyn Orda» market. Farmers can get access to the shopping facility if they have a certificate from the rural akimat. The places of sale are equipped with umbrellas, cameras are installed for constant monitoring. This will enable farmers to sell agricultural products directly to consumers without intermediaries.
