«We thank the Tatar people, the organizers for the invitation to the forum on behalf of Kazakhstan», – A. Akimov said. – Halal is an actively developing trend in both Muslim and non-Muslim countries. In understanding the Halal system, we should not be limited only to the requirements of Sharia, but include in it the requirements of the standards of food safety management systems, quality management, and employee safety. Because it is unacceptable to talk about Halal, but to produce low-quality products without taking into account the issues of production safety, sanitary standards, health, well-being of workers and the norms of Islamic ethics.
Dastan Moldybayev told the forum participants about the systematic efforts to form a permanent and comprehensive cooperation of the National Accreditation Center in our country with interested representatives of business, the manufacturing sector, spiritual organizations involved in the high-quality functioning of the Halal industry in Kazakhstan.
«As you know, accreditation increases the credibility of certification bodies. In turn, the certification bodies transmit the high requirements of the standards they follow to the manufacturers of Halal products. Manufacturers, through certification, provide consumers with environmentally friendly products that are produced in compliance with the norms of Islam and are of high quality. Consequently, the positive effect of accredited Halal certification extends to the end user», – D. Moldybaev stressed.
