Arman Shakkaliyev took part in the international economic investment Forum «Zhambyl Economic and Investment Forum – 2023»

On April 27 this year, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkaliyev took part in the plenary session of the international economic Investment Forum «Zhambyl Economic and Investment Forum – 2023», which was held for the first time in Zhambyl region.

The forum began with the contest-exhibition «The best product of Kazakhstan», where 150 domestic producers of the region presented their products.

Speaking with a welcoming speech, Arman Shakkaliyev noted that holding the forum and exhibition is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate domestic goods, exchange experience and stimulate Kazakhstani production.

He said that the country's trade industry does not stand still and shows positive dynamics. Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover in 2022 amounted to a record $134.4 billion. Of these, exports account for 84.4 billion US dollars, which is 39.9% more than in 2021. Imports increased by 20.8% and amounted to 50.0 billion US dollars.

Kazakhstan's trade in food products alone in 2022 amounted to about $ 7 billion, of which $ 2.5 billion is the export of products to foreign markets.

Following the results of the forum, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest-exhibition "The best product of Kazakhstan" was held.

In particular, in the nomination «The best industrial goods» won   LLP «Energy Taraz», LLP «Аgro green Technology», LLP «Tay - company», in the nomination «Best goods for the population» - LLP «TarazKozHobuv», IP «Korkem-Ai cosmetics», IP «Sarysu».

In the nomination «The best food products», LLP «AulieAta-Phoenix», IP «Sarybas», IP «Pyshka» were recognized as the best.

Also in the nomination «Made in JAMBYL» the winners were LLP «Taraz Invest company», companies «Ellin shoes», «As kop».
