For the first time in Kazakhstan, a certification body for compliance with the international anti-corruption standard has been accredited

The first domestic organization to confirm compliance of management systems with the ISO 37001:2016 standard «Anti-corruption management systems» has passed all the procedures of primary accreditation stipulated by the legislation and confirmed the competencies, qualification level of personnel, knowledge and practical skills sufficient to conduct accredited certification according to the anti-corruption standard.

The applicant's accreditation was carried out by a working group of the National Accreditation Center of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which conducted a survey at the location, a witness assessment and other procedures provided for by law, during which the accredited entity proved its compliance in the declared area.

From now on, organizations and institutions wishing to confirm compliance with the requirements of the international anti-corruption standard have the opportunity to do so through an accredited domestic conformity assessment body, which guarantees high quality verification, its objectivity, impartiality, rigor and impartiality.

According to the legally established principle of impartiality and confidentiality, the National Accreditation Center is limited in the ability to disclose the name of an accredited entity, however, the fact that an accredited organization conducting an assessment according to ISO 37001:2016 has appeared in our country is characterized as certainly positive, opening up new opportunities in the purification of society from corruption, similar to the experience of developed countries.
