Serik Zhumangarin was informed about the progress of the information system «е-KTRM»

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin held a meeting on digitalization in the field of technical regulation.

During the meeting, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Balykbayev reported on the work done by the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology within the framework of the implementation of the state information system «е-КТРМ».

«More than 70 regulatory and technical documents of information security required by legislation have been developed and approved, for example: information security policy; risk assessment methodology; rules for access rights differentiation, etc. Integration works with state databases have also been carried out. 120 NCA business processes and almost 70 KAZSTANDART business processes have been digitized», — K. Balykbayev said.

According to the developers, more than 1,500 organizations, 1,236 structural divisions, 10,000 offices, 292 offices of applicants have been registered for 2.5 months of the implementation of the state system. The RSE «National Accreditation Center» has 25 applications for primary accreditation in its work. The system generated 633 applications for CM certificates, of which 324 certificates were issued.

At the same time, as part of the implementation of the system, a number of suggestions and comments were received from users in such areas as: registration in the system; filling in data (the «Save», «Edit»); buttons did not function); applications for accreditation (they had not previously been received by the responsible employees of RSE «NCA»); metrology and standardization (there was no registry of the GSI RK). To date, the errors have been eliminated by 80%. Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin instructed to eliminate all problems as soon as possible.

«In the future, we are ready to continue work on eliminating inconsistencies identified during practical implementation and according to user suggestions», — said Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the MTI of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kaysar Shalabayev.

It should be noted that the work carried out by the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee on digitization and improvement of conformity assessment procedures is aimed at eradicating «gray» certificates and ensuring transparency of the conformity assessment procedure, as well as providing the population of Kazakhstan with safe and high-quality products and reducing technical barriers.
