PRESS RELEASE to the joint order between the Ministry of trade and integration of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of health

In connection with the introduction of quarantine in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, large commercial facilities were recommended to suspend their activities, with the exception of those operating in them for the sale of food and medicines.

In this connection, for uninterrupted supply of population with food joint order of the Minister of trade and integration of Kazakhstan from March 21, 2020 No. 60-N and Minister of healthcare of Kazakhstan from March 21, 2020 No. 182 amended Recommendations on the functioning of objects of trade for the period of validity of the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 15,
2020 No. 285 "on the introduction of a state of emergency in the Republic of Kazakhstan", in terms of excluding restrictions on the opening hours of shopping facilities (shopping centers, hypermarkets, shopping houses, food markets, supermarkets, minimarkets, home stores and other retail facilities) with an area of less than 2000 square meters.

At the same time, these facilities should work with increased sanitary and disinfection measures.
