In Kazakhstan, the selection of entrepreneurs to participate in the Export Acceleration 2023 programs, to bring domestic producers to the international electronic platform Alibaba, as well as participation in international trade events, starts. The projects are implemented by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Gaztrade.

This year, 110 Kazakhstani companies with the greatest export potential will be selected within the framework of the Export Acceleration program. Applications from business representatives will be accepted from January 23, 2023.

According to Asel Egemberdieva, Deputy Director General of the Center for the Development of Trade Policy "QazTrade", the participants are supposed to be divided into two groups: "newcomers in exports" and "active".

"Training workshops will be held for "beginners" to prepare for export, step-by-step instructions and recommendations will be developed. Also, experienced specialists will diagnose their business and offer producers the most profitable sales markets. Traditionally, meetings with international consultants, government agencies supporting Kazakhstani exporters will be organized for entrepreneurs," Asel Egemberdieva explained.

In turn, existing exporting companies will be able to take part in active B2B negotiations, including learning the rules of their conduct. During the year, entrepreneurs will meet with business partners accompanied by QazTrade experts and international analysts.

In 2023, the list of priority markets for goods produced in Kazakhstan has significantly expanded. In addition to traditional countries for Kazakhstan's exports, such as Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, producers of domestic goods will be offered the markets of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.

In addition, domestic manufacturers can count on free assistance in developing new sales markets through the Alibaba international trading platform. As measures to support exporters, 70 domestic companies will be provided with an account on this platform with the status of "Gold Supplier" for a period of 1 year. The status of a special supplier gives entrepreneurs access to a global audience and allows them to increase the recognition of goods abroad.

As part of the service support for exporters, it is planned to conduct trade and economic missions in 10 countries, as well as the presentation of export potential at international exhibitions in the format of a single national stand in priority countries.  The main purpose of the events is to establish direct contacts and activate trade relations between Kazakhstani enterprises and potential importers, traders and distributors.

By the end of 2022, the participants of the QazTrade programs signed long-term contracts for the supply of goods and services worth more than $ 700 million. Their products are now successfully exported to the markets of Russia, China and the countries of Central Asia, the Middle East.
