Meeting of the Minister of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Sultanov With a member of the Board of the EEC A. Slepnev

On March 13, 2020, Minister of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov met with a member of the Board - Minister for trade of the Eurasian economic Commission Andrey Slepnev.

During the meeting, the Ministers discussed the current agenda of negotiations between the EEU member States on concluding free trade agreements with third countries, as well as the potential for expanding it with new partners.

In addition, they exchanged views on export support measures. In particular, A. Slepnev shared his vision of the possibility of coordination and cooperation of the EEU countries on export promotion.

In turn, B. Sultanov welcomed the proposed initiatives and noted the importance of taking comprehensive measures to support domestic exporters in order to increase the competitiveness of products and increase its volumes.
