There is no shortage of socially important food products in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan is monitoring the provision of basic foodstuffs to the population.

Currently, regional stabilization funds, warehouses of manufacturers, trade organizations and other storage facilities contain more than 1.2 million tons of socially important food products.

The specified amount is sufficient depending on the type of products from 1 to 6 months. Production of foodstuffs does not stop, there is a sufficient permanent stock for a long time.

Delivery of foodstuffs from production sites is carried out according to the planned schedule, shopping centers and markets are operating normally.

The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is taking a full range of measures to prevent speculative growth in prices for basic food products.

Local Executive bodies control the level of prices for socially important food products.

We inform you that the Committee for the protection and development of competition of the Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan monitors price collusions of market participants and, in case of unjustified price increases, response measures, including penalties, will be applied to business entities.
