In Kazakhstan, local executive bodies continue to conclude memoranda with large retail chains on reducing the trade premium to 10% on NWPT. As of November 14 this year, 130 memoranda have already been signed in all regions and cities of republican significance, the press service of the Trade Committee of the MTI RK sauda_komiteti reports.
The signing of memoranda is an important stage in price formation, the trade premium established by law in the amount of 15% is reduced to 10% within the framework of the memorandum. This allows residents to buy socially significant food products with a reduced trade margin in large retail chains of Kazakhstan that have concluded memoranda.
The memoranda were signed by such large retail chains as Magnum, Small, Anvar, Astykzhan, Vkusmart, FerMag, Akmol, etc.
It should be noted that in the Committee of Trade of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to increase the reliability of data analysis of the dynamics of price growth for basic foodstuffs, there is a public control: a call center for receiving complaints from residents about inflated prices for products included in the list of NWPT. Instagram Facebook, sauda_komiteti and sauda_inform social media accounts of MIT are also accepted for complaints.
