The solemn celebration of the Republic Day took place at MIT

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin congratulated employees of the Ministry and subordinate organizations on the national holiday at a solemn meeting in honor of the Republic Day.

  • 32 years ago, on October 25, Kazakhstan for the first time declared itself as a country with a huge vision of future development. This year, on the initiative of the president, the Republic Day was returned to the status of a national holiday. The Ministry of trade and integration successfully implements the goals and objectives for the development of our sovereign country, further strengthening its role in the International Space, deputy prime minister said.

Serik Zhumangarin also outlined the key achievements of MIT over 3 years of activity as an independent department. The total volume of Kazakhstan's trade turnover increased from $96 billion in 2019 to $101.5 billion in 2021. The volume of exports, despite the pandemic years, for the same period increased from 58.4 to 60.3 billion US dollars, imports – from 37.8 to 41.3 billion US dollars. The trade turnover of Kazakhstan between the member countries of the Eurasian Customs Union has reached 68.7 billion dollars. Within the framework of Eurasian integration, Kazakhstan's exports to partner countries have reached about 20 billion US dollars.  Serik Zhumangarin also announced further development plans, especially emphasizing the need to solve the tasks of stabilizing prices for socially important food products, implementing new approaches to state support directly to agricultural producers.   

On this day, the heads and employees of MIT and subordinate organizations were awarded state awards:  The Order of "Kurmet" - Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Torebayev, Director of the Department of Foreign Trade at MIT Aliya Alimbetova; the medal "Eren enbegi ushin" - Deputy Director General of the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology" KTRM MIT Zhanat Begaidarov, Head of the Department of Trade of Almaty KT MIT Gennady Daniyarov, Deputy Director General of JSC "Center for Development of Trade Policy "QazTrade" Assel Egemberdieva, Head of the Department for Consumer Protection of Akmola region KZPP MIT Svetlana Zanegina, Deputy Director General of the RSE "National Accreditation Center" Yerkebulan Mukhtar. Diplomas of the Republic of Kazakhstan for active life and valiant work were awarded to the Deputy Director of the Export Promotion Department Murat Kasymbekov and the Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Integration of the Ministry of Trade and Integration Daniyar Dosumov.   

Also, 41 employees of the Ministry were awarded departmental awards, certificates of honor and letters of thanks.
