Entrepreneurs of the Karaganda region presented measures of state export support

On October 21, QazTrade held a meeting with export-oriented companies in the region at the site of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Karaganda region.

During the interactive meeting entrepreneurs were familiarized with measures of state support for domestic exporters of non-commodity goods and services. Business representatives discussed proposals and problematic issues, as QazTrade representatives presented ways to solve them. In particular, at the request of «Kazcentrelectroprovod» LLP, «QazTehna» LLP, «Minova Kazakhstan» LLP and «Mutlu» group of companies, clarifications were given on the mechanism for providing reimbursement of part costs to exporters for transportation costs and promotion of products, export acceleration programs and access to electronic trading platforms, as well as participation in exhibitions and trade and economic missions.

The event was also attended by representatives «QazIndustry» JSC, as well as regional branches of the RCE of the Karaganda region.

During the visit, representatives of QazTrade visited the factory for the production of buses and commercial vehicles of «QazTechna» LLP in Saran.

Since 2021, the plant has produced 347 buses and electric buses for passenger transportation. As part of the pubАlic transport network modernization program, by the end of this year, the company plans to supply more than 700 buses and electric buses to the regions, 208 of which will be sent to educational organizations in nine regions of the country.

The plant cooperates with the global passenger transport manufacturer Yutong. As part of the partnership, the company will gradually provide QazTehna with the necessary technologies. Currently, 33 percent of bus parts are made from local materials. In the next five years, the level of localization is planned to be increased to 50 percent. Currently, the plant employs 560 people.

«QazTechna» LLP is a participant in the Export Acceleration Program. The company plans to start exporting equipment to Russia.

 

For reference: exporters of the Karaganda region actively use state support measures. Thus, in 2022, 14 companies in the region became participants in the Export Acceleration Program («Kazcentrelectroprovod» LLP, «Gormontazhproekt» LLP, «NPO Defectoscopy» LLP, «KazGus» LLP, «MALU» LLP, «Kazakhstan Industry Assistance Institute» LLP, «KazArmatura Plant» LLP, «Kaz-Metiz» LLP, «Global Light» LLP, «Profland-RT» LLP, «СEM-Geomash» LLP, «Santekhprom» LLP); 4 companies received the status of a «gold» supplier on the Alibaba electronic trading platform («Kartash» LLP, «СEM-Geomash» LLP, «ELTO Energy Systems» LLP, «Santekhprom» LLP); actively participated in trade and economic missions, within which they were able to sign export contracts; 19 companies were able to recover part of their export costs in the amount of more than 800 million tenge.
