The first project in the field of standardization of handicraft services in the country

The Qazaq-Oner Artisans Center is the first and unique project in the country, which is a benchmark in the field of development and popularization of folk applied art of the Kazakh people, created in Almaty.

Kazstandart TRMC MTI RK conducted an inventory assessment of the Qazaq-Oner Artisan Center for compliance with the national standard Article RK 3686 «Handicraft centers. General requirements». The assessment was carried out with the participation of representatives of NCE «Atameken» and JSC «NC Kazakh Tourism».

Qazaq-Oner has demonstrated a very high level of compliance with the national standard.

«It is a great honor for us not only to initiate and open the country's first artisan center Qazaq-Oner, but also to receive a certificate of compliance with the national standard Article RK 3686-2020 «Handicraft centers. General requirements». KazStandart informed that this is their first project in the field of standardization of handicraft services.
