Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin got acquainted with the activities of the National Company "QazExpoCongress"

Today, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin got acquainted with the main activities of the National Company «QazExpoCongress» during the visit.

The International Financial Center «Astana», the International Technopark of IT Startups «Astana Hub», Astana IT University and other organizations are successfully operating on the territory of the EXPO business center. Also among the facilities there is a modern business center of class «A», which houses 25 companies, among which are residents of the AIFC, development institutes, educational enterprises and other tenants.

In addition, the main attraction of the capital is located on the territory of the complex – the NUR ALEM Future Energy Museum, which is visited daily by more than 500 people.

Business and entertainment events are held on the site of the Congress Center, and the largest International Exhibition Center in Central Asia, «EXPO», has become the main venue for international and national exhibitions.

It is worth noting that since 2021 the International Exhibition Center «EXPO» has been included in the World Association of the Exhibition Industry «UFI», which provides a unique opportunity for Kazakhstan to enter the world calendar of exhibition events.

In addition, the company has the «Kazakhstan» pavilion on its balance sheet, which is one of the most visited objects on the territory of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy in Moscow.

It is worth noting that due to the closure of the World EXPO 2020 Dubai Exhibition, the expositions of the Kazakh pavilion will be moved to the pavilion at VDNH and to the NUR ALEM Museum.

«Currently, the facilities of the EXPO business center are fully filled, and from next year the company will reach full self-sufficiency and ensure the maintenance of the infrastructure of the complex without allocating funds from the state budget,» - said Allen Chaizhunusov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC «QazExpoCongress».

Summing up the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin gave relevant instructions to the National Company «QazExpoCongress».
