How can potential exporters get a Halal certificate?

Domestic manufacturers can already get a Halal certificate without leaving the country.

To do this, they need to officially submit an application to KazStandard of the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Republic of Kazakhstan with the following set of documents:

  • Production and technological documents;
  • Product test report.

Also, entrepreneurs from Asian countries, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States can use the KazStandard platform to assess the compliance of their products with Islamic standards and, thus, gain access to the markets of the Persian Gulf countries.

Recall that during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Kazakhstan received an official document on the accreditation of KazStandard from the UAE International Accreditation Center for certification of Halal products.
