Yerlan Battakov held a meeting with representatives of the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan

First Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration Battakov Yerlan Yerkinovich held a meeting with representatives of the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, issues related to the current situation on the egg market were discussed.
As noted by the President of the Union of Poultry Farmers Sharipov Ruslan Ismailovich, to date, the increase in selling prices for eggs of the first category is insignificant. It was also noted that in addition to cereals, the cost of eggs includes veterinary medicines, premixes and other components, which are mainly imported from Russia and Europe. Wheat, in turn, is provided at the expense of the domestic market.

To date, poultry farmers fully meet the need of the country's population for food eggs.

In addition, it should be noted that today poultry farms sell eggs of the first category at a fixed price – no more than 34 tenge per piece.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on close cooperation and joint work to prevent a sharp rise in prices for chicken eggs.
