The Ministry of Trade includes public control in the system of price data analytics for socially significant food products

A call center has been created specifically for this purpose to receive citizens' appeals in all regions of the country.

Currently, the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration conducts analysis and monitoring of prices for socially important food products in 4 directions:

Weekly data from the Bureau of National Statistics (official statistics).
Data from the monitoring of prices for NWT conducted by the territorial departments of the Trade Committee (random check of prices in stores at home and in trade markets with fixing their cost. The data obtained are compared with official statistics).
Price monitoring via the Fiscal Data Operator (OFD). (Fiscal data includes all receipts and reports generated by an online cash register installed at retail facilities. With the help of the CRF, the purchasing power and prices of NWPT goods are studied).
In order to increase the reliability of data analysis and take into account the appeals of citizens faced with inflated prices for NWT in stores at home, markets, supermarkets and other organized places of trade, a call center has been created under the Trade and Integration Committee.

Phone numbers for receiving applications, a list of socially significant food products approved by the government decree are attached.

Time for receiving messages: from 9.00 to 19.00, from Monday to Friday. On weekdays and weekends, citizens can leave appeals in the comments under MIT's social media accounts:

Operational checks will also be organized for all received requests. In case of detection of the facts of exceeding the size of the established trade allowance for NWPT in the amount of 15%, the materials will be transferred to the local executive bodies for further administrative measures.
